A great gift idea for mom is a gift certificate to a Yoga studio in your area.  Yoga may not be for everyone, but it’s worth a try and personally, it’s my favorite form of exercise and relaxation, specially hot yoga.

With a heated room and tons of purifying sweat released, your wife will come home relaxed, reenergized and feeling ten pounds lighter.  It does take a while to get used to the moves and you’d be surprised at how sore you can get in the beginning, but there is no better way to slim down, tone up and purify your body, mind and spirit.  You can find great deals on Groupon and Living Social for packages of ten or twenty classes discounted at about 50-80% off the regular price and in the end only costing you about $20-40 for the purchase.  This is a gift that she will love, giving her some me time and coming away feeling great.

This post is dedicated to my ultimate wish list item, a Coach Diaper Bag.  I cannot get myself to purchase this personally as it seems ludicrous to spend that kind of money on myself now that I have a little one, but man, would I love to have one of these.

I did a ton of research on diaper bags and settled on the SkipHop bag and while it does what it needs to and looks good, it still looks like a diaper bag, which is something I just haven’t gotten used to carrying around yet.  I’ve been a Coach girl for years, not for any other reason than I can always find a high quality purse that is fairly simple in design and versatile.  I’m not one for the loud colors and Luis Vuitton eye crossing designs, just not my style.  So, now that I’m a mom, the natural progression was looking at the Coach purses in the largest size or the diaper bag.  This is definitely one diaper bag that doesn’t look like a soccer mom diaper bag.  It’s sleek, sophisticated and the only sign of baby is the little coach tag.
